Imam Certification Program
The Imam Certification Program (ICP) provides imam ordination through a transparent and clearly defined process.
This program is designed to ensure that imams serving New York’s diverse Muslim community meet recognized standards of scholarship, character, and readiness to lead.
Applicants are required to submit
- A résumé
- Verified religious degree credentials
- A formal letter of support from the authorized leadership of their masjid
Followed by a formal interview conducted by our religious experts.
